CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - After scoring the game-winner to help Navy clinch its seventh regular season league title in Saturday's regular season finale at Colgate, senior captain Julie Reynolds has earned ECAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors, the organization announced.

Reynolds, who on Tuesday was named Second-Team All-Patriot League for the third-straight season, scored her first goal of 2008 and her third career game-deciding tally in Navy's 1-0 road win over the Raiders.

The shutout victory secured the No. 1 seed and hosting privileges for the Mids in this weekend's Patriot League Tournament, which is slated to begin Friday afternoon (4 p.m.) in Annapolis when Navy battles No. 4 Colgate for the second time in a week.

Reynolds, who also received Patriot League weekly defensive kudos on Monday, is now the fourth Patriot League women's soccer student-athlete to earn ECAC recognition this season.
