ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Having already concluded the road portion of the Patriot League schedule, the Navy women's soccer team will now finish the 2010 season with four-straight home games. The Mids will first take on Bucknell at 11 am on Saturday morning. Navy and Bucknell are each 2-1 in league play and are vying to be one of the four teams to advance to the Patriot League Postseason Tournament.

Parking/Shuttle Information: Fans are reminded that only those vehicles with a Department of Defense sticker affixed to it will be allowed to drive onto the grounds of the USNA. Also, due to the Brigade doing its PRT on Saturday morning, visitors are asked to enter through Gate 8. All other visitors to The Yard have the option of either finding parking in downtown Annapolis -- which will be limited due to the U.S. Powerboat Show taking place -- and walking through the Academy's gates or riding the free shuttle bus to and from the USNA.
Due to the home football game vs. SMU, parking for the women's soccer shuttle will be at the Harry S. Truman Park and Ride. The lot is located at Harry S. Truman Parkway and Riva Road near the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration in Annapolis. Fans are asked to access the lot off of Truman Parkway and then park on the right side of the lot. This same lot will also be providing shuttles to the football stadium, so fans are asked to make sure they are boarding the bus that will run to the USNA. The shuttle will be running from 10 am to 3 pm. See directions at the bottom of the page.
As of Late
Navy rebounded from its Star Game loss to Army on Friday night with a 1-0 win at Holy Cross on Sunday. Freshman Ashlynn Soellner netted the game-winning goal off an assist by junior Kate Herren and freshman Alexes Lopez-Shaw recorded her first solo shutout in net.

Scouting Bucknell
Bucknell enters the game with a 4-11-0 overall record. The Bison entered conference play with a 2-10 record, but have run out to a 2-1 Patriot League mark. Bucknell defeated American (3-0) and Lafayette (2-1), before falling to Lehigh, 2-1. Senior Christa Matlack leads the team with five goals and 12 points. Last season, Matlack was the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year. Matlack scored twice in the first half in Bucknell's 3-1 defeat of Navy in 2009.

Navy in Patriot League Play
The Mids are now in their 17th season of Patriot League competition. The Mids own an all-time record of 68-29-12 during the regular season. In addition, the team is 21-5-5 during the regular season since the beginning of the 2006 season. Navy has won three Patriot League Tournament Championships (2003, 2006 and 2007) and six regular season championships (1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2006 and 2008).
Navy Holds a .844 Winning Percentage at Glenn Warner
Beginning with the inaugural season at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility in 2001, Navy has posted an 86-13-7 (.844) all-time record at their home field. Navy is also 8-0-2 (.900) in Patriot League contests at the GWSF over the past three seasons (2007-09).

The Navy women's soccer program has surpassed the double-figure win total 15 straight years dating back to 1995. There are currently 323 Division I soccer teams and only six have won 10 or more games in each of the last 16 seasons.
