Box Score

West Point, N.Y. - Army's Kelley Robbins scored in the 67th minute to give the Black Knights (11-3-0, 2-0-0 PL) a 1-0 win over Navy (8-6-1, 1-1-0 PL) in the teams' annual Star Game on Friday night at Clinton Field. The loss snaps Navy's four-game winning streak.

Robbins took a feed from Carolina Rice on the right side of the field and hit a shot to the opposite side corner to give Army the only goal it would need.

Navy had a number of scoring opportunities in both halves. One of the better chances came in the 10th minute when senior Christine Calderon had a breakaway but her shot sailed wide right.

The Mids nearly struck in the 89th minute when freshman Paloma Perez made a good run and fed senior Carissa Youker in the box, but Youker's shot went wide right.

Youker led the team with three shots.

Army goalkeeper Alex Lostetter made three saves to preserve the shutout, the team's 11th of the season.

Navy's Hannah Legler made two saves in 90 minutes for the Midshipmen.

Army outshot Navy 16-10, but the Mids held a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Army had nine fouls to Navy's eight and the Black Knights held the advantage in corner kicks 5-3.

Navy leads the all-time series 10-9-2.

The game was televised on the Fox Soccer Channel and shown on tape delay.

The Mids will continue their road trip when they play at Holy Cross at 1 pm Sunday.
