ANNAPOLIS, Md. - With two matches left, the Navy women's soccer team will travel to Loyola on Sunday (1 p.m.) for its final Patriot League regular-season road game. The match can be seen live and for free on PatriotLeague.TV. Live statistics will be available on navysports.com (.)

Navy is in the driver seat to win its third consecutive and ninth overall Patriot League regular-season title. Navy and Colgate each are tied with a 5-1-1 league record (16 team points), having lost to the same common opponent, Boston University, and tied one another, 1-1 in Hamilton, N.Y. The Mids currently own the tiebreaker over the Raiders with goal differential against league opponents, plus-13 to plus-9.

Boston U. sits third in the league with 14 points and a 4-1-2 record. Army is fourth with 12 points (3-1-3) and Bucknell (3-3-1) and Lehigh (2-1-4) round out the final two postseason spots, at the moment, with 10 points. Loyola is on the outside looking in with eight points and a 2-3-2 league record.

Navy has clinched a spot in the Patriot League tournament, following its win over Lehigh on Wednesday. The Mids can lock down a bye with a win and a loss or tie by Boston. Navy can clinch a quarterfinal home game with a win or tie or a loss or a tie by both Bucknell and Lehigh.

Scouting Loyola
• The Greyhounds are riding a three-match unbeaten streak and are seventh in the league with eight points and a 2-3-2 record.
• Loyola has not allowed a goal in the last 270 minutes and have defeated Boston University, 1-0, American, 2-0 and tied Lehigh, 0-0 over the three-game stretch.
• The Greyhounds are 0-8 when they allow one goal or more in 2014.
• Jessica Van Dyke leads Loyola on the offensive side, tallying nine points on four goals and one assist with one game-winning goal.
• Goalkeeper Colleen Folan has played all 1489:39 minutes in net for Loyola this season. Folan owns a 1.03 goals-against average and a .768 save percentage with eight shutouts.

All-Time Series
• Navy is 5-2 all-time against Loyola and 1-0 against the Greyhounds since entering the Patriot League last season.
• Navy has won the last five matches, including last year's match in Annapolis, 3-0. Julie Schumacher (2) and Rachel Hunter (1) assisted on all three goals with Lexi Ricketts tallying one of the scores.

Patriot League Play
• Since 1994, Navy has accrued a 91-35-17 record against Patriot League opponents during the regular season. Following their victory over Holy Cross, the Mids have now tallied four-plus wins in regular-season play in eight of the last nine seasons.
• Sept. 20's match versus Boston U. was the 22nd league opener for Navy. The Mids fell to an 11-8-2 record in league openers following the 1-0 loss at Boston. Navy is 3-6-1 on the road in conference openers.
• Since the league opening loss to the Terriers, Navy is unbeaten in league play going 5-0-1 over the last five matches. The Mids have outscored its last four league opponents, 19-2.
• The Mids have recorded Patriot League tournament appearances in the last 16 seasons.
• Navy has tallied eight regular-season titles, including the last two (1998, `99, `01, `03, `06, `08, `12, '13)

Balanced Attack
• Navy has a multitude of options on offense, recording four players with at least four goals and 10 players with at least two assists.
• Of the 23 field players that have seen the pitch, 12 Mids have recorded at least one goal and seven players have tallied the game-winning goal.



Gaining Late-Season Momentum
• Following a tough 1-0 loss to Boston University on Sept. 20, Navy is unbeaten in its last eight matches. Over the eight-game stretch, the Mids are 7-0-1 and have outscored their opponents, 21-3.
• Navy has produced seven matches of two goals or more and five shutouts during its run.
• The Mids have tallied 10 different players to find the back of the net over the stretch with Clare MacAdam and Lily Kraemer each scoring four times during the seven-match unbeaten streak.

Putting In The Time
• Senior defender Jade Seabrook has been Navy's foundation on the backline since she was a freshman.
• After playing as an important reserve player during her freshman season and logging 774 minutes, Seabrook has seen very little time on the bench. The senior defender has recorded back-to-back seasons of 1600+ minutes on the field. Seabrook currently has tallied 1461 minutes this season.
• Since she was implemented as a starting center back, Seabrook has not been on the field for 622:01 out of a possible 5520:01 minutes. She has started 58 straight games since the beginning of her sophomore season.

Unselfish Play
• Senior defender Julie Schumacher has made a career of setting up her teammates in set pieces and this season has been no different.
• Over the past two seasons, Schumacher has either led or was tied for the lead in assists in a season with nine in 2012 and six in 2013.
• Schumacher currently leads the Patriot League in assists with 11 after 17 matches and is tied for 16th in the nation.
• For her career, Schumacher has recorded 27 assists in 70 games. Her two-assist match against Lehigh tied her for second all-time at Navy with Stephanie Parker (2001-04) and Nadia Sheikh (1999-02). Schumacher's season total of 11 ties her for the fourth most in program history with Stacy Finley (2003) and Ty Westinghouse (1994).

Freshman Firsts
• Navy freshman have been busy through 17 games, tallying 22 points on eight goals and six assists.
• Forward Clare MacAdam paces all Navy freshmen with five goals and one assist, including the game winner over No. 24 James Madison. The Mids are 4-0 when MacAdam records a goal.
• Forward Natalie Dzhandzhapanyan has recorded two assists, one against UConn and one against Stetson.
• Dzhandzhapanyan scored her first collegiate goal against Lafayette on Sept. 26.
• Midfielder Meghan Hegarty set up teammate Rachel Hunter for the go-ahead goal vs. Maryland for her first career assist on Sept. 8.
• Hegarty scored her first collegiate goal against American on Oct. 1, which was the eventual game winner.
• Defender Annie Morgan tallied an assist on Courtney Mason's goal versus Marist on Sept. 12.

Road Warriors
• Navy began its 2014 slate with five matches on the road. The Mids battled with UMBC and UConn on opening weekend. Navy lost two one-goal games, 1-0 at UMBC and 2-1 at UConn.
• Navy then continued with two matches in Florida, tying with USF, 1-1 and concluded with a 3-1 win over Stetson.
• The Mids finished their five-game road trip with an impressive 1-0 win over No. 24 James Madison.
• Navy is 114-79-20 all-time when it plays away from home. The Mids were 5-2 on the road in 2013 and are currently 4-3-2.
• It's the first time in program history that the Mids began a season on the road for the first five matches.

A Week To Remember
• Senior forward Lily Kraemer provided a big spark for Navy off the bench and led Navy to a 2-0 record from Sept. 22 to Sept. 26.
• Kraemer began the week with a career-best two-goal game against Mount St. Mary's en route to a 3-0 win. She recorded the eventual game winner in the 32nd minute. The senior forward then tallied the first goal of the contest against Lafayette in the 40th minute, which resulted in the game-winning goal as the Mids won 4-0.
• Kraemer's three goals in a span of four days, two of which were game winners were both season highs.
• Following her performance, Kraemer was named as the Disney Soccer/NSCAA Players of the Week and Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week.

Battle Tested
• Navy played a strong nonconference to prepare for the league schedule, facing three teams in the RPI's top 60 (UConn - 36, USF - 43, Maryland - 54) and then-No. 24 James Madison.

Knocking Off The Best
• Navy recorded its second Colgate - 27, Boston U. - 37, Maryland- 44, UConn-39, South Florida-57) and defeating then No. 24 win over a top-25 team in program history with a 1-0 win over No. 24 James Madison.
• The Mids now own a 2-14-1 record against top-25 programs. Navy earned its first win over then-No. 9 Penn State, 1-0 on Oct. 26, 2006. Navy then went on to tie then-No. 20 William & Mary, 0-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Mids advanced on penalty kicks.

Navy Invitational
• Since 1996, Navy has accrued a 24-4-4 record at its annual invitational. The Mids largest margin of victory was against Pittsburgh, 8-1 on Sept. 7, 1996 and their largest defeat was against Ohio State, 2-0 during the same invitational on Sept. 9, 1996.
• Navy has won eight of its last nine matches of the invitational, three of which have been overtime wins.
• Of the 26 different squads to compete against Navy at the invitational, Rider, Davidson and Towson have faced the Mids each three times, which is the most amongst the 24 teams.
• Eight of Navy's matches have gone into overtime and own a 3-2-3 record, winning the last two last season (Duquesne, 1-0; St. Bonaventure, 3-2).
• Navy defeated Marist, 2-1 on Sept. 12 and finished the invitational with a 1-1 tie against Ball State on Sept. 14.
