Oct. 23, 2015 ANNAPOLIS, Md. â€" The Navy women's soccer team (9-4-4, 3-0-4 Patriot League) will look to clinch a spot in the Patriot League Tournament with a win at Lafayette (7-6-1, 1-5-1 PL) on Sunday at Oaks Stadium (1 PM). A Navy win will clinch a top three spot in the league's tournament.

KEY NOTES FOR LAFAYETTE
• Lafayette enters Sunday's match with a 7-6-1 overall record and a 1-5-1 league mark.
• The Leopards are 3-3-1 in Easton, Pennsylvania and have dropped two of their three league matches, one to Army, 1-0 in overtime, and the other to Boston University, 4-0. Lafayette grabbed a 2-2 tie against Bucknell for its lone league point at home.
• Five Leopards have recorded at least two goals this season.
• Junior Kaelin King has generated the most offensive output for the Leopards, recording 18 points on seven goals and four assists. She has tallied a team-high two game-winning goals this season.
• Junior Melissa Lynskey has also helped out on the offensive end, tallying the team's second-most goals with five.
• Junior Danielle Sedillo has started 11 matches in net for the Leopards, owning a 1.55 goals-against average with a .594 save percentage.
• In the last two games, Sedillo and sophomore Kelly O'Brien have split goalkeeping duties as Lafayette went 1-1 in league play.
ALL-TIME VERSUS THE LEOPARDS
• Navy leads Lafayette, 21-2-1, in the all-time series. The Mids are 10-2 against the Leopards in Easton, Pennsylvania.
• Navy has won the last four matches, outscoring Lafayette, 11-4.
• In last season's match, Navy overwhelmed Lafayette in every statistical category, holding advantages in shots, 28-6, shots on goal, 13-3 and corner kicks, 11-7. Navy goalkeeper Dayton Wetherby earned her second career shutout. The Mids recorded goals from four different players, including Jade Seabrook, Lily Kraemer, Courtney Mason and Natalie Dzhandzhapanyan.
LAST TIME OUT
• First-half goals by Navy women's soccer sophomores Clare MacAdam and Natalie Dzhandzhapanyan led Navy past American, 2-0, on Wednesday at Reeves Field. Navy improved to 3-0-4 to remain unbeaten in Patriot League play while American fell to 1-4-2.
• Navy recorded goals in the fifth (MacAdam) and 14th minute (Dzhandzhapanyan). MacAdam scored her goal off a 20-yard free kick and Dzhandzhapanyan finished off a great cross from teammate Meghan Hegarty.
• Junior goalkeeper Dayton Wetherby collected three saves for her league-leading fourth shutout in league play. Wetherby has allowed just five goals in 710 minutes against league opponents.
• Navy head coach Carin Gabarra tallied her 299th career win to improve her all-time record at 299-137-43.
DEFENSIVE ADJUSTMENTS
• As crunch time begins for Navy, the Mids defense has adjusted and has been a big part of Navy's 10-match unbeaten streak.
• In the first seven games of the season, Navy allowed 15 goals and owned a 3-4 record. Navy has since allowed eight goals in 10 matches and is unbeaten with a 5-0-5 mark, including a 3-0-4 record in league play.
• Dayton Wetherby has recorded four shutouts and lowered her goals-against average from 2.42 to 1.18 during the stretch.
SEARCHING FOR 300
• Navy head coach Carin Gabarra owns an all-time record of 299-137-43 in 22 seasons with Navy (293-127-43) and one season at Westmont College (6-10-0).
• There are 17 active Division I head women's soccer coaches that have reached the 300-win plateau. Dayton's Mike Tucker was the most recent head coach to have accomplished the feat.
• Boston University's Nancy Feldman is the only Patriot League head coach with at least 300 wins, tallying 364 victories in 28 seasons.
