ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Due to the potential impact of Hurricane Joaquin, which fortunately missed the area in the end, most of this weekend's racing for the Navy intercollegiate sailing team was cancelled. The one event that did happen was the Danmark Trophy at the Coast Guard Academy.

The Thames river served up very shifty and puffy conditions throughout he event and the fleet was very deep and talented, producing extremely challenging racing.

Navy came out with a ninth place finish out of 18 teams. Patrick Snow, Arron Hull and Peter Hogan finished 13th in A division while Michael Popp, Will Hawley and Brittany Webb-Martin were 10th in B.
