July 1, 2015 ANNAPOLIS, Md.--Navy head football coach Ken Niumatalolo released the names of the 2015 football recruiting class on Wednesday evening as 64 prospects representing 21 states went through induction ceremonies and began plebe summer. "We are really excited about the group of young men that went through induction ceremonies today," said Niumatalolo. "If they work hard and do the things they are supposed to do in Bancroft Hall, in the classroom, in the weight room and on the practice field they will have a chance to contribute to our success." Texas produced the most prospects with 11, while nine hail from California and seven from Tennessee. Five incoming plebes are from Maryland, while four each come from Virginia, Georgia and Ohio. Other states represented include Florida (two), New York (two), Pennsylvania (two), New Jersey (two), Kentucky (two), Nevada (two), Hawai'i (one), Missouri (one), Illinois (one), Connecticut (one), Alabama (one), Arkansas (one), South Carolina (one) and North Carolina (one).
Navy Football season and single game tickets are currently on sale at the Ricketts Hall Ticket Office, by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY or by logging on to the web at www.navysports.com. Navy opens the 2015 campaign at home on Saturday, Sept. 5 against Colgate and will then play host to East Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 19 in the school's first American Athletic Conference game.
