ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy intercollegiate sailing team competed in four regattas this past weekend with two being held in Annapolis.

Navy hosted the Faye Bennet MAISA Women's Singlehanded Championship, where Hannah Hughes placed seventh and Molly Robertson was 13th in the 18-boat field.

The team also competed at the U.S. Team Racing Championship for the Hinman Trophy, which was hosted by the Annapolis Yacht Club. The Mids placed 10th in the 12-team field. Competing for Navy was Michael Popp, Aaron Hull, Megan Hough, Patrick Snow, Addison Hackstaff and Jimmy Madigan.

Navy placed 13th out of 18 teams at the St. Mary's College of Maryland Fall Interconference Regatta. Gary Prieto and Brittany Webb-Martin were 13th in A division and Michael Madigan and Ana Mier were 11th in B.

Navy's fourth regatta was the MAISA Laser Elimination at U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Manuel Inserni-Pagan placed 10th, Peter Hogan was 11th, Tyler Fleig was 13th and Spencer Nora was 15th out of 20.

Navy has four regattas slated for next weekend, including the Intrepid Trophy in Annapolis.
