ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's soccer team (2-6-3, 0-3-1 PL) will host Longwood (4-6-1, 1-2-0 Big South) in a non-conference match on Tuesday at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility at 7:00 PM. Live statistics will be available.

The Mids are playing their second of four straight home games at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility. Navy battled Holy Cross to a 1-1 double-overtime draw on Saturday to remain unbeaten on its home pitch this season at 1-0-2.

The game against Holy Cross was also Navy's fourth straight overtime contest and its fifth overall overtime game of 2016.

Holy Cross scored on a header in just the second minute on Saturday and Navy senior Sam Bascom scored the equalizer in the 49th minute. Navy earned its first point of the Patriot League standings with the tie against the Crusaders.

Bascom has now scored in two of Navy's last three games. He leads Navy with five points this season and is also the team's active career leader in points with 20 (eight goals, six assists). Sophomore Daniel Kwon is second on the team in scoring this season with two goals and four points.

Navy junior goalkeeper Mac Burke made seven saves against Holy Cross on Saturday. Burke ranks second in the Patriot League in both goals-against average (1.02) and save percentage (.797) in his first season as a starter.

Due to the effects of Hurricane Matthew, Longwood postponed its game against Gardner-Webb on Saturday. Longwood's most recent game was a 3-0 conference loss to High Point on Oct. 5.

Prior to the loss to High Point, the Lancers posted a 6-2 win over Campbell. Senior midfielder Finnlay Wyatt led the way with two goals and two assist for six points in the win.

Wyatt leads Longwood with 11 points this season on four goals and three assists. Freshman midfielder Max Poelker is second on the team with 10 points on four goals and two assists.

Longwood junior midfielder Dan Campos ranks first in the NCAA in assists per game this season (0.73). Campos has eight assists on the 2016 season.

Longwood has used three goalkeepers this season, with senior goalkeeper Carlos Canas seeing the most action. Canas has played 710 minutes and has a 1.14 goals-against average and a .775 save percentage. Canas is 4-3-1 on the season with one solo shutout.

Navy and Longwood will be meeting for the third straight season. Navy posted a 2-0 win 2014 and Longwood earned a 2-1 win in Farmville, Virginia last fall. Navy junior Aubrey Jones scored on a penalty kick against Longwood last season.

Longwood owns a 3-4-0 lead in the all-time series against Navy.

Navy will next host Bucknell (3-8-2, 1-2-1 PL) on Saturday at 7:00 PM in a Patriot League contest.

Parking / Shuttle Information
Fans are reminded that the general public does not have access to drive their vehicles on to the U.S. Naval Academy. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for $5 and take a shuttle that will run every 10 minutes starting at 6:00 PM, one hour prior to the game and will continue running until one hour after the game is completed. Fans 18 and over need a government-issued photo ID. Enter Gate 5 off Taylor Ave. to park at the stadium. Dogs are not permitted inside the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
