Sept. 30, 2016 ANNAPOLIS, Md. â€" Bouncing back with a dominating 3-0 shutout at Lehigh on Wednesday, the Navy women's soccer team (5-7-1, 2-1 Patriot League) looks to continue its momentum at home versus Holy Cross (1-8-1, 0-2-1 PL) at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility on Sunday.

Feldman Scores Twice
• Senior Rachel Feldman (Danville, Calif.) scored twice to guide Navy past Lehigh, 3-0, Wednesday night in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
• Feldman recorded her first career multi-goal game with two goals against the Mountain Hawks. Sophomore Ash Fairow (Jacksonville, N.C.) added her first of the season.
• Feldman helped Navy (5-7-1, 2-1-0 Patriot League) get on the board early in the first half. Sophomore Anabell Motley (Asheville, N.C.) dribbled deep into the 18-yard box and was taken down by a Lehigh defender to earn Navy a penalty kick in the 43rd minute. Feldman, who was 1-for-1 already this season, hit a well-struck penalty kick past Lehigh goalkeeper Sam Miller to give Navy a 1-0 lead.
• Early on in the second half, Motley helped generate a corner kick in the 69th minute for another offensive chance. Junior Megan Rogers (Orange Park, Calif.) swung in the ensuing corner into the box, where freshman Baseley McClaskey (Grand Junction, Colo.) was there to gain possession and hit her shot towards the net, but a Lehigh defender was there to block it. Off of the rebound, Feldman positioned herself and redirected the ball back into the net for her second of the game.
• Lehigh (7-2-1, 1-2-0 PL), who had only allowed three goals in the previous nine matches, was overwhelmed by Navy's offensive attack. The Mids held advantages over the Mountain Hawks in shots, 16-8, shots on goal, 6-3, and corner kicks, 6-1.
• Senior goalkeeper Dayton Wetherby (Wesley Chapel, Fla) had a nice bounce-back game in net for Navy as she tallied her second solo shutout of the season with three saves. It was just the second time this season that Lehigh did not score a goal.
300-Win Plateau
• After five wins in 2016, the Navy women's soccer program has accrued 300 wins in 24 years of its program history.
• Navy became the 45th Division I program and third in the Patriot League to reach the plateau. Currently, Colgate and Army West Point are the two other schools to reach 300 wins as the Raiders have 359 and the Black Knights have 332.
• It took the Mids just 481 matches to reach the 300-win plateau, which is the fastest in the Patriot League. Colgate played 517 games (28 seasons) and Army recorded 543 games (28 seasons) before reaching the mark.
SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
• After a season-opening win versus Iona, 3-1, the Crusaders lost their last eight matches before earning a crucial 1-1 tie at Army West Point on Wednesday.
• Before Holy Cross' 1-1 tie with the Black Knights, the Crusaders were outscored, 24-8, in their previous nine games.
• Holy Cross' offense is led by Andj Seslija with a team-best three goals on 20 shots. Seslija is 1-for-1 in penalty kicks, as well.
• The Crusaders have used three different goalkeepers this season. Caroline Cashion leads the team with a 2.03 goals against average and a .767 save percentage. Brooke Holle gave Holy Cross a boost in net, recording eight saves in the 1-1 tie against the Black Knights.

• Navy owns an 18-2-3 all-time record against Holy Cross
• The Mids are a perfect 11-0 against the Crusaders in Annapolis
• Navy is unbeaten versus Holy Cross in the last 15 matches.
• Over the 15-match unbeaten span, Navy has outscored Holy Cross, 37-5
• Last season's 0-0 double overtime draw proved to be true across the stat sheet. Navy held a slight edge in shots, 15-12, with both teams even in corner kicks, 6-6. Dayton Wetherby recorded a five-save shutout, while her counterpart Brooke Holle tallied a seven-save shutout, which was complimented with two team saves.
