WESTMINSTER, Md. â€" The 2017 McDaniel Twilight Meet ended soon after it began due to inclement weather in the Westminster, Md. area. Navy women's track and field will continue the week with the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. this Thursday.

The meet saw the pole vault and hammer throw to completion.

In the pole vault, Maggie Ruud notched a season-best and ECAC qualifying height of 12ft-01.50in (3.70m) to win the event. Maddi Falvey, Charlene Kearns, and Kaitlyn Stafford all tied for third place with jumps of 11-06.25 (3.51m).

In the hammer throw, Izzy Marini finished first with a throw of 156-06.00 (47.70m) to win the event. She was followed by teammates Morgan Giraud (152-09.00 / 46.56m) and Audrey Brandon (149-03.00 / 45.50m) who finished in second and third, respectively.
