BRONX, N.Y. – Sophomore
Bobby Lee (Santa Ana, Calif.) and freshman
Isaac Salinas (Spring City, Pa.) of the Navy water polo team were selected to the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference-West Region All-Tournament team. The team, which featured seven players on both the first and second team, was voted on by the league coaches.
Lee, who was tabbed first team all-conference earlier in the week, finished the tournament with eight total points, netting a team-high six goals, while also chipping in a pair of assists. Lee scored a pair of goals against Fordham, while leading the team with four goals and two assists in the Mids' win against La Salle. Lee finished the season with 68 total points on a team-best 57 goals and 11 assists.
Salinas, the 2018 MAWPC-East Rookie of the Year, tallied four goals during his first conference tournament. He contributed a goal against Fordham before recording a hat trick in Navy's victory against La Salle. Salinas ended his freshman campaign with a team-high 77 points on 54 goals and a team-best 23 assists.
