More on the Mids
• The Midshipmen enter the weekend with a 10-0 record and were rewarded this week by the College Squash Association with a No. 10 ranking. Navy was ranked No. 16 in the preseason rankings, but have amassed a 6-0 record against nationally-ranked foes and defeated two teams ranked ahead of it (Virginia and Western Ontario by 5-4 scores).
• Senior Dylan Sweeney is the only player to see action in all 10 of Navy's matches this season and owns an 8-2 record.
Jack Lentz (1), Michael Kacergis (4) and Ben Korn (9) sit atop the wins leader board for the Mids with matching 9-0 marks. Lentz has twice been the hero for the Mids, earning the go-ahead wins at the No. 1 position against both Virginia and Western Ontario
Senen Ubina, Dylan Sweeney and Jamie Kjorlien continue to move up among Navy's all-time winningest players. Ubina went 3-0 two weeks ago to become just the 11th player in program history with 70 wins. He stands just outside of the program's all-time top 10 with a 70-27 career record, needing four wins to move into a four-way tie for eighth. Meanwhile, Sweeney is tied for 15th on the wins list, just four shy of adding his name to the 70-win list at 66-25. Finally, Kjorlien boasts a 62-26 mark and is 19th all-time.
• Though just a sophomore, Jack Lentz is already among the winningest in terms of winning percentage. He stands seventh on the list, winning 77.5 percent (31-9) of the matches he has played.

More on Middlebury
• Friday's match against the Midshipmen marks the opener for Middlebury.
• The Panthers recorded a 9-12 record a year ago and finished 2017-18 ranked 19th nationally.
• Leading the way for Middlebury will be a trio of juniors, including William Cembalest who garnered First-Team All-NESCAC honors a year ago and Jacob Ellen, a Second-Team All-NESCAC selection.

The Series
• The Midshipmen own a 6-2 all-time record against the Panthers, who first met in 2011.
• Seven of the eight previous matches have either been played at Middlebury or a neutral site. The Mids swept Middlebury, 9-0, a year ago in Annapolis.

More on Dartmouth
• Ranked seventh nationally, Dartmouth opened its season on Wednesday with a 7-2 victory over No. 11 Drexel in Philadelphia.
• The Big Green put together a 13-5 record a year ago and placed fifth at the College Squash Association Team Championship.
• While All-American Alvin Heuman, the team's No. 1 player last season, has graduated, Dartmouth returns Carson Spahr and Matt Giegerich who played the No. 2 and 3 spots in 2017-18.

The Series
• Dartmouth owns a 27-20 lead in a series that dates back to 1951.
• Navy won the first 15 matches of the series, but the Big Green have turned the tables and won each of the last 22 matches against the Mids.
• Dartmouth has defeated the Mids, 7-2, in each of the last four meetings.
• The Mids' last win in the series was on Feb. 25, 1995 at the NISRA Championship in Princeton, N.J.

Up Next
• The Midshipmen will be off from collegiate competition until Jan. 16 when they face No. 9 George Washington in Washington D.C.
