ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy sprint football team (6-0, 3-0 CSFL-South) finishes up the regular season with Senior Day against Collegiate Sprint Football League newcomer Alderson Broaddus (1-5, 0-3 CSFL-South) on Friday night at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Live stats will be available throughout the game.

Over the past four seasons, the senior class has amassed a 25-4 (.862) overall record with three victories over rival Army, including a pair of N-Star wins. In addition, the Mids won the 2018 Collegiate Sprint Football League Championship and are slated to play in the 2019 CSFL title game.
CSFL Championship
Navy has secured its spot in the upcoming CSFL Championship on Friday, Nov. 8 in Philadelphia, Pa. as the South Division Champion. The Midshipmen will play the North Division Champion – the winner of Army and Mansfield game.
In 2017, the Collegiate Sprint Football League split into two divisions and established a championship game, pitting the divisional champions against one another. Navy fell to Penn (L, 28-23) to miss out on the inaugural title game, but advanced to the 2018 championship, defeating Army, 24-10, to claim the overall league championship.

The game between Navy and Alderson Broaddus will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
In October of 2018, Alderson Broaddus University Athletic Director Dennis Creehan announced that the Battlers will add Sprint football to its varsity sports offerings and join the Collegiate Sprint Football League as a full-time member.
Last Time Out
The Navy sprint football team notched a 70-7 road win over Cornell on Friday night at Schoellkopf Field in Ithaca, N.Y. In the game, six different Midshipmen scored touchdowns, including four players who finished the game with two TDs apiece.
Navy finished the game with 438 total yards compared to 165 by Cornell. The Midshipmen rushed for 326 yards and 10 touchdowns, while the Big Red had just 75 yards on the ground. The Mids outgained Cornell, 112-90, in the air.
Caleb Champion (Milton, Fla.),
Braydan Chmiel (Warrenton, Mo.), Josh Hudson (Wilmington, Del.), and
Terry Totta (Kansas City, Kan.) each tallied two touchdowns apiece, while
Jake Foss (Merced, Calif.) and
Matthew McGee (Port Charlotte, Fla.) added one score each.
Defensively, the Midshipmen were balanced.
David Postma (Bellevue, Wash.) and
Chris Sims (Las Vegas, Nev.) led the way with five tackles apiece. Sims and
Adam Jennings (Scituate, Mass.) paced the team with four solo stops each. Five different players recorded an interception in the game with
Luis Castillo (Mason, Texas) leading the way with two.
Brennen Means (Highland, Calif.) and
Paul Kuehler (Roanoke, Va.) notched INT returns of 43 and 24 yards, respectively.
Jared Swenson (Seymour, Wis.) scored 10 points in the game, going a perfect 10-for-10 in PAT attempts.
