BALTIMORE, Md. – Navy women's lacrosse junior attacker Kelly Larkin (Alexandria, Va.) was named Second Team Media All-American by Inside Lacrosse as announced by the publication. It is the third time that Larkin has been selected All-American by Inside Lacrosse and the second time she as been named to the second team.

After debuting the inaugural Media All-Americans at the end of the 2017 regular season, Inside Lacrosse is back with its third-annual Media All-American teams. ILWomen contributors and members of lacrosse media were tasked with choosing the 2019 season's top 12 attackers, nine midfielders, 12 defenders, top three draw specialists, and top three goalies. Honorable mention selections were chosen based on players who received multiple votes, but did not accrue the totals of the first, second, or third honorees.

Prior to the season, Larkin was selected to the IL Preseason Media All-American third team, while also earning Third-Team Midseason All-American distinction in April. In addition, she was named to the second team as a sophomore, and tabbed IL Rookie of the Year as a freshman, claiming honorable mention accolades in 2017.

This season, Larkin has been named an IWLCA First Team All-South Region selection. She earned her third overall All-Conference accolade and second consecutive first team distinction. She was named Patriot League Attacker of the Year for the first time in her career, becoming the first Navy player to earn the award since Jasmine DePompeo (2010-13) earned Offensive Player of the Year in three consecutive seasons (2011, '12, 13).

She is the first player in Patriot League history to record three 100-point seasons. In addition, the junior holds the Navy and Patriot League record for career points with 346, passing DePompeo for the all-time record. She ranks second in Navy history with 161 assists (six shy of first place) and fifth in career goals with 185 (39 shy of first place).

Larkin led the team with 121 points on a team-high 69 goals and team-best 52 assists. The Alexandria, Va. native played and started all 21 games on the season. She scored at least one goal in all 21 games, including netting hat tricks in 14 games. She notched at least one assist in 15 games with multiple helpers in 12 games. Larkin converted 10 free-position opportunities and netted six game-winning goals. In addition, she added 26 ground balls and eight caused turnovers on the year.
