CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Juniors Ansofi Wreder (Miami, Fla.) and Kaylah Hodge (Upper Marlboro, Md.) were named to the All-Patriot League Second Team on Friday afternoon as the league announced their All-League Teams and major award winners.
 
Wreder earns her second career All-Patriot League honor after being selected to the second team during her freshman season in 2017. This is Hodge's first career all-league honor. The Midshipmen duo become the 16th and 17th second team honorees in program history and are the 26th and 27th all-league award winners in the program. This also marks 10th-straight season Navy has had multiple all-league recipients.
 
During the 2018-19 season, Wreder played at the No. 1 singles spot for the Midshipmen and compiled an 18-19 record overall with the 18 victories ranking third on the team. Wreder went 8-14 playing at the No. 1 singles spot going 3-3 in the Patriot League this spring. In the fall, the native of Miami, Fla., posted a 9-5 record and made it to the semifinals in three of Navy's five fall tournaments. In her career, Wreder has compiled a singles record of 62-39 and has reached at least 18 wins in all three seasons at Navy. Her 62 wins are currently seventh all-time in program history.
 
Hodge moved up to the No. 2 singles spot in 2019 and compiled a record of 10-12 in singles matches in dual competition. In doubles, Hodge finished at 16-11 overall going 5-0 at No. 1 doubles along with 6-3 at No. 3. She has surpassed the 100-win mark in her career and has 106 victories. Hodge finished fourth on the team with 16 doubles victories throughout the season. In the program record books, Hodge ranks seventh all-time with 57 doubles victories and her .722 winning percentage in doubles (57-22) is currently fifth all-time in program history. Her 106 combined wins are ninth all-time in school history.
 
In the major awards, Army and Boston University swept the league honors with Army's Ana Joyner being named Player of the Year and head coach Paul Peck earning Coach of the Year honors. Shelly Yaloz of Boston was named Rookie of the Year while Yaloz and Emily Kim were selected as the Doubles Team of the Year. 
 
Navy finished with a record of 23-9 this season, which marked its eighth 20-win season in the last nine years. The 23 wins also rank third for most wins in a single-season. The Midshipmen made their seventh appearance in the Patriot League Tournament this year and they have made it to the semifinals in all seven appearances.
