One of the highlights of his weekend by an eagle three on the par-5 16th hole in the opening round. Meanwhile, Musto bested Garbee's mark by one stroke over the final 18 and featured a 5-under par 30 on the front 9, as he posted a 4-under par 67 to also finish 4-under for the tournament.

Thoughts on the Weekend
"What a great team effort, from each of the players to our associate head coach
Mike Burke, who really played a pivotal role in helping guide our team over the weekend," said 30th-year Navy head coach
Pat Owen. "Thomas (Garbee) did a fabulous job not only winning his first tournament, but also serving in his captain role. Mickey (Brennan) is coming off and injured knee and really stepped up today in some clutch situations. Chad (Deegan) has picked up from where he left off at the Patriot League Championship last spring and has been a consistent contributor."
