ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy track and field team will take on Princeton in a dual meet on Saturday, Jan. 11 at Wesley A. Brown Field House. Competition in the men's meet will officially begin with the field events starting at 11:00 a.m. with the running events starting at 12:00 p.m. On the women's side, the field events will start at 2:00 p.m., while the running events will begin at 3:00 p.m. Admission to the meet is FREE.
Live results from M&D Timing will be available throughout the meet.

2020 USATF Indoor Combined Events Championships
The heptathlon and pentathlon being contested as part of the 2020 USATF Indoor Combined Events Championships will be held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7-8, 2020 at the Naval Academy's Wesley Brown Field House in Annapolis, Md. The meet will be held in conjunction with America's Meet – the Army-Navy Star Meet – which is part of the Star Series presented by USAA.
The USATF Indoor Combined Events Championships will begin on Feb. 7 with the pentathlon and opening events of the heptathlon. The championships conclude on Feb. 8 with the remaining heptathlon events and then transition directly into the Army-Navy Indoor Star Meet. Field events for the Midshipmen and Black Knights are slated to begin at 11:00 a.m., while the running events will start at 12:00 p.m.

Navy Captains
Prior to the 2019-20 season, seniors
John Finnegan (Spring, Texas), Kara Kakascik (Weirton, W.Va.),
Evan Lexo (Groton, Mass.), and Regine Tugade (Dededo, Guam) were selected to be the Navy track and field captains for the season. Finnegan and Tugade will serve as the indoor captains, while Kakascik and Lexo will captain the outdoor season.
Last Time Out – Navy Invitational I (Dec. 7, 2019)
The Navy track and field team broke a pair of records as the Midshipmen opened the 2019-20 season at the Navy Invitational I on Saturday at the Wesley A. Brown Field House in Annapolis. The women's 4x400m relay team of Chelsey Edwards (Schertz, Texas), Chloe Alfieri (Harvard, Mass.), Kara Kakascik (Weirton, W.Va.), and Molly Mangan (Pittsburgh, Pa.) posted a collective time of 3:44.21 to break the school record by two seconds, while
Clayton Thompson (Corpus Christi, Texas) posted a pair of times in the preliminaries (7.93) and finals (7.96) of the 60m hurdles to break the previous school mark.
The women's team ended the meet with a school record in the 4x400m relay. Edwards, Alfieri, Kakascik, and Mangan trimmed 2.10 seconds off the previous school record of 3:46.31 that was set in 2018 by Edwards, Christina Quigley (Lorton, Va.), Brittany Burg ('18), and Amanda Agana ('19).
Thompson topped the previous record of 8.00 in the 60m hurdles twice on the day.
Kordell Williams ('19) was the only Midshipmen to run an 8.00 in the 60m hurdles, until Thompson posted a pair of sub-eight times. The junior opened the day with a 7.93 in the prelims to set the new school record, while also posting a sub-eight mark in the finals with a 7.96.
In addition to the records, Navy also posted 36 IC4A / ECAC qualifying times / marks. The men's team registered 22 IC4A qualifiers, while the women's team notched 14 ECAC qualifying performances.
Track and Field Claims Numerous Weekly Accolades (Dec. 10, 2019)
Navy track and field captured four of the six M-F Athletic Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards as announced by the conference office.
Clayton Thompson (Corpus Christi, Texas) and Chloe Alfieri (Harvard, Mass.) were named Male and Female Track Athletes of the Week, while
Sethan Hollier (Baton Rouge, La.) and Charlene Morke (Isanti, Minn.) were tabbed Male and Female Rookies of the Week. In addition, Thompson was selected the NAAA Athlete of the Week presented by Northrop Grumman.
