Five Starting Notes
1 – Navy will be playing at Maryland for the first time since Jan. 31, 1983.
2 – This game will be Navy's first road game at a Big Ten member school since playing at Northwestern on Jan. 3, 1989.  The Mids have played only nine road games at a Big Ten school when that team was a member of the conference.
3 – Navy and Maryland last met two seasons ago in Annapolis as part of the Veterans Classic.  The Mids return five players who took to the court against the Terps in that game and Maryland has four players back from its 78-57 win over Navy.
4 – A pair of first-time starters were in Navy's starting lineup against George Washington.  Tyler Nelson and Richard Njoku combined to shoot 11-17 from the field and each scored 12 points.
5 – Cam Davis climbed closer to the 1,000th point of his career with a 15-point showing against the Colonials.  He enters the weekend with 973 points.

Five Starting Notes
1 – Navy will be playing its third game in four days when it faces Mount St. Mary's on Saturday. This is part of a season-opening stretch of four games in seven days for the Mids.
2 – Navy and Mount St. Mary's met last season in Alumni Hall.  It was the first game played in the series in seven seasons.
3 – Defense dictated the game a year ago as the Mids came away with a 59-48 victory over the Mountaineers.
4 – John Carter Jr., Cam Davis and Greg Summers combined for 43 of Navy's 59 points in the game.
5 – The Mids have posted a 7-5 record against Northeast Conference teams during the 10-year Ed DeChellis era.  Navy has posted a 5-1 record in its last six games against NEC teams.
