Marina Lazarides recorded career highs in points (10), goals (7), and assists (3) against Mason.

FAIRFAX, Va. – Senior captain Marina Lazarides (Westminster, Md.) scored 10 points on seven goals and three assists to lead Navy women's lacrosse (5-3) to an 18-9 road win over George Mason (1-11) on Wednesday evening at George Mason Stadium to snap a three-game skid by the Midshipmen.

The 10 points, seven goals, and three assists were all three career-highs for the offensive captain.

"I am proud of the players," head coach Cindy Timchal said after the game. "We worked hard this week. It is always tough to play a team twice and to play solid. I felt like we played a lot better today. We played with more poise. We still have to clean up things, but I am happy for the team to play so well. Marina, a senior captain, was able to get on track for us tonight. She continues to keep persevering and believing in herself. She was able to take advantage of opportunities and really help us out tonight."

Lindsay Beardmore (Annapolis, Md.) joined Lazarides in facilitating the offense. The freshman recorded a team-high three assists in her first collegiate action of her career. In addition to her three helpers, she also scored a pair of goals on the night for five points.

Nicole Victory (Issaquah, Wash.) registered her fourth hat trick of the season and the ninth of her career with three goals.
