Last Time Out: Track and Field Completes Sweep of IC4A / ECAC Championships (May 16, 2021)
For the first time in program history, the Navy track and field team has swept the IC4A / ECAC Championships, claiming the 2021 outdoor meet which was held in Springfield, Mass. over the weekend. For the men, it was the seventh IC4A outdoor title in program history, and the third consecutive win for the Mids in the meet. The men finished first among the 32 teams that scored in an event, while the women were first out of 37 teams that scored. Navy men tallied 191 points to finish ahead of Army (119 points), Northeastern (49), Rider (41), and Dartmouth (33.50). The Midshipmen women scored 123.5 total points to win the meet, with Army (88), Saint Francis (67), Richmond (63), and Towson (62) rounding out the top five.
