Five Starting Notes
1 – Navy and Colgate are meeting for the first time in two seasons.
2 – The teams have split the 32 previous games that have been played in Annapolis.
3 – The last three games in the series to be played in Annapolis have been decided by a total of 18 points, with the largest margin of victory for either team in this span being seven points.
4 – Navy is off to a 4-0 start in Patriot League play for the second year in a row and the third time (1998) in the program's 31-year membership in the league.  The Mids also started the 1986 Colonial Athletic Association season with a 4-0 record.
5 – Navy's bench is outscoring the opposing reserve players by an average of 28.8-12.3 points per game since the start of the Patriot League season.

Series History
•    Colgate leads the all-time series with Navy by the count of 40-30.
•    The teams fist met on Dec. 29, 1950, when the Raiders posted a 63-59 victory over the Mids in a game played in Raleigh, N.C.
•    The teams have split the 32 previous games that have been played in the series in Annapolis.  The Raiders hold a 15-14 edge in games that have been played in Navy's current home facility, Alumni Hall.
•    Colgate also holds a 33-25 advantage in Patriot League regular season games.
•    The Raiders lead the Mids, 15-14 in league games that have been played in Annapolis, which includes a 14-13 edge in games that have been played in Alumni Hall.
•    Colgate has won each of the last four and seven of the last eight games played in the series.
•    The Raiders have posted a 2-1 record against the Mids over their last three visits to Annapolis.  Those last three games have been decided by a total of 18 points.

Accessing the USNA
The USNA is closed to all vehicles without a Department of Defense-approved identification card. All other visitors must either walk through one of the security gates or ride the shuttle bus. The free shuttle bus service begins one hour before tip. Whether walking on or riding the shuttle bus, those ages 18 and over must present a photo identification card (driver's license) to gain access and those ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The shuttle will depart from the blue (west) side parking lot at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Enter the lot off of Taylor Avenue (south side of the stadium). There is a $5 parking fee per vehicle. The shuttle will depart from and return to the bus stop next to the Blue Angel jet.

COVID-19 Policy
As per Department of Defense regulations, those who have not been vaccinated must wear a mask at all times when on the USNA grounds and those who have been vaccinated have the option to wear a mask while outdoors but must wear a mask while indoors. Additionally, masks must be worn by everyone regardless of vaccination status while riding the shuttle bus.
