Five Starting Notes
1 – Saturday's game will be Navy's third in eight days and American's fourth in that same span.
2 – This is the 21st season in which Navy and American are each members of the Patriot League.  This also is the 28th season in which both teams are members of the same conference.
3 – Saturday's game will be the 98th in the Navy-American series.  That total ranks second for the most times Navy has played an opponent in program history (136, Army), and is the 11th most played series among Patriot League teams.
4 – Navy and American have played each other in seven different cities (second to Navy-Duke for the most cities in which the Mids have faced an opponent) and 10 different venues (the most among all Navy opponents).
5 – Seven of the last nine games in the Navy-American series have been decided by 10 or fewer points.

Series History
•    American holds a 49-48 advantage in the all-time series with Navy.
•    The teams first met Feb. 2, 1929, when Navy defeated American, 46-21, in Annapolis.
•    Navy holds a 31-21 edge in games played in Annapolis.  However, the Eagles lead the Mids, 12-9 in games played in Alumni Hall.
•    American leads Navy, 28-14, in Patriot League regular season games played between the teams.
•    The Eagles also lead the Mids, 12-9, in league games played in Annapolis, all of which have been contested in Alumni Hall.
•    Navy and American were members of the ECAC South Conference and Colonial Athletic Association from 1985-91.  The Mids held an 8-7 lead in games played between the teams during that era, including an 8-6 edge in regular season games.
•    Navy won all four games played by the teams last year and has won six of the last eight games in the series.

Accessing the USNA
The USNA is closed to all vehicles without a Department of Defense-approved identification card. All other visitors must either walk through one of the security gates or ride the shuttle bus. Whether walking on or riding the shuttle bus, those ages 18 and over must present a photo identification card (driver's license) to gain access and those ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The shuttle will depart from the blue (west) side parking lot at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium starting one hour before tip.  Enter the lot off of Taylor Avenue (south side of the stadium). There is a $5 parking fee per vehicle. The shuttle will depart from and return to the bus stop next to the Blue Angel jet.

COVID-19 Policy
As per Department of Defense regulations, those who have not been vaccinated must wear a mask at all times when on the USNA grounds and those who have been vaccinated have the option to wear a mask while outdoors but must wear a mask while indoors. Additionally, masks must be worn by everyone regardless of vaccination status while riding the shuttle bus.

Promotions
