Five Starting Notes
1 – Navy and Lafayette met annually for 41 years from the 1979-80 season through the 2019-20 campaign.  The series was interrupted last season due to COVID.
2 – The last seven games in the Navy-Lafayette series have been decided by a total of 31 points.  The largest margin of victory by either team in this span is eight points.
3 – The last three games in the series to be played in Easton have been decided by a total of 13 points.
4 – Lafayette head coach Fran O'Hanlon and Navy head coach Ed DeChellis rank first and second, respectively, among active Patriot League head coaches in career games as a head coach.  Now in his 27th season, O'Hanlon has been a head coach for 776 games and DeChellis, in his 26th season, has been a head coach for 762 games.
5 – DeChellis leads active Patriot League head coaches with 358 career wins and O'Hanlon ranks second with 354 career victories.

Series History
•    Navy leads the all-time series with Lafayette by the count of 42-34.
•    Monday is the 102nd anniversary of the first game to be played in the series.  The Mids defeated the Leopards, 30-23, on Jan. 10, 1920, in Annapolis.
•    Lafayette holds a 20-15 advantage in games played in Easton, all of which have been played in what is now known as the Kirby Sports Center.
•    Each team has won 29 Patriot League regular season games against the other.
•    Lafayette leads Navy, 17-12, in Patriot League regular season games played in Easton.
•    Each of the last seven games in the series have been decided by single digits, and the average margin of victory in this span is 4.4 points.  Three of these recent games have been decided by two points –– including each of the 2019-20 games –– and another one was determined by three points.
•    The teams have split the last four meetings in the series.
