Five Starting Notes

2 – The first meeting between the teams took place during the 1909-10 season. That was the first game played by Navy against a future Patriot League opponent.
3 – Despite the teams meeting 112 years ago, this will be just the 32nd season in which Navy and Loyola will face each other.
4 –
John Carter Jr. enters the weekend having played in 99 career games.
5 – Thursday night,
Richard Njoku selected the USS San Antonio for his first ship assignment upon graduating from the Naval Academy and being commissioned as an Ensign in the Navy this May.
