What do you want to do after graduation and why?  Naval Aviation or Submarines. The mission sets of each seem super cool.

Why did you choose Navy?  There is no other university that allows you to serve your country while getting a top tier education and getting to play FBS football.

What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football?  It's a grind and certainly not easy, but nothing worthwhile in life comes easy and few things are more rewarding.

If you could play another position, what position would you play and why?  Quarterback, because you get to be the king of the field.

If you could choose any opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule, who would you choose and why? Texas AM, my brother played there and a lot of my best friends and my girlfriend goes to school there.

Favorite class at the Naval Academy and why?  Differential Equations. Although difficult, it seemed like a culmination of all my math knowledge came full circle and made sense.

Hardest class at the Naval Academy and why?  Chemistry 1 because it was very specific; everything in it is at the atomic level.

Favorite teacher at the Naval Academy and why? LT Sloat (Chem 2). He made a subject I would usually hate, actually quite enjoyable.

Favorite form of social media and why?  Twitter, because it has the best mix of humor and relevant news.

Favorite person to follow on social media and why?  Elon Musk, I love how down to earth he acts and how he says the things other celebrities are too scared to say.

If you could have dinner with any 4 people at the Naval Academy who would you choose?:

Kellen Grave De Peralta

Brown Bedard

Cam Johnson

Tomas Maldonado

Favorite sport to follow at the Naval Academy outside of football and why? Track, I have always loved watching that sport because everything is objective.

If you didn't play football at Navy, what sport would you play and why?  Golf, because it is my favorite sport to play, however it is quite a love/hate relationship.

What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the field? Something by Taylor Swift or Katy Perry, it always calms me down and doesn't make the moment too big.

What is your dream vacation?  Tahiti

How many teams should make the FBS Playoffs?  16

What is the best thing about being in the American Athletic Conference?  Getting to play against some of the best teams in the country and in the coolest locations.

Favorite Coach Niumatalolo quote: It's gonna be hard as crap.

One word to describe a Navy Football player:  Gritty

Who will be the surprise player on offense in 2022 and why?  Daba Fofana, he's built like a boulder.

Who will be the surprise player on defense in 2022 and why? Colin Ramos, he is always locked in and knows the defense as well as anyone.

Who is the toughest player on the Navy football team and why?  Logan Point, he's 30 pounds heavier than me and yet still dusts me in sprints.

What player epitomizes Navy Football and why?  Eavan Gibbons, makes the most of what he has and plays with heart.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on offense in 2022 and why?  Maquel Haywood, he's crazy athletic and a smart player.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on defense in 2022 and why?  Clay Cromwell, he looks like a beast and plays like one.

What are you most looking forward to in 2022?  Seeing our young team from last year with another year of experience.
