ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Navy's
Jonah Harm (Jr., Placerville, Calif.) has been named the sixth alternate for the upcoming NCAA Swimming Championship, slated to be contested March 22-25 in Minneapolis, Minn.
Harm earned his current position with his time of 45.58 in the 100 butterfly. He also has posted B cut times in the 200 individual medley and 50 freestyle events.
Harm is one of 16 Mids from the men's and women's teams to post at least one NCAA B cut time this season. The two teams combined for 25 B cut times this year. Harm and
Lauren Walsh (Fr., Shelton, Conn.) led the way with three B cut times. Walsh recorded her efforts in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM events.
The Navy divers concluded their seasons on Wednesday with the final day of competition at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championship.
Mackenzie Kim had the best finish of the Mids as she advanced to the finals (top 18 divers in the prelims) in platform diving. After placing 17th in the five-dive trial heats, she moved into 13th place overall after the finals with her 10-dive total of 423.50 points.
