ANNAPOLIS, Md. – After opening Patriot League play with a draw at Loyola, the Navy men's soccer team (2-4-1, 0-0-1 PL) is set to return to non-conference action on Tuesday evening, traveling to Marist (3-2-1, 1-0-0 MAAC) for a 7 p.m. meeting at Tenney Stadium in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Tuesday's contest will mark the second all-time meeting between the two teams, as the Midshipmen make their first visit to Poughkeepsie.
Jackson Among the Nation's Best
Senior midfielder
David Jackson's hot start to the season has put him among the nation's best scorers, as his 11 total points (four goals, three assists) ranks 20th in Division I entering the week … Additionally, his three assists are 33rd-most in the NCAA and his four goals are 29th-most in the nation, while his 1.57 points per game puts him 38th in the country … Jackson's three penalty-kick goals is tied for second in the nation behind Luke Eberle's four PK scores for Liberty.
O'Donohue Nearing Half-Century Mark

Tim O'Donohue is one win away from capturing his 50th career victory at Navy, as he enters Monday with a 49-54-20 record with the Midshipmen across eight seasons … The Mids are 37-21-13 over the last five seasons, including four-straight winning seasons from 2019-22 … For his career, O'Donohue holds a 214-75-43 coaching record, previously posting a 165-21-23 mark in 10 seasons at Division III Stevens Institute of Technology.
