Twelve Sprint Players Named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – Twelve Navy sprint football players – Brandon Atwood, Liam Brown, Dante Carrasco, Jack Costigan, Luke Eleftheriou, Nadir Emlemdi, Andrew Margiotta, Devyn Martin, Victor Otero, Patrick Palm, Andrew Sowinski, and Mitchell Waters – were named member for the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society.
 
The Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better through their college careers. An elite group of 1,989 players from 339 schools qualified for membership in 2024,
setting a record for the number of members in a single year during the program's 18-year
history.
 
Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must be either:
-- A senior player, who will graduate this spring/summer, and just completed his final year of playing eligibility in 2023; or
-- A graduated player, who has been out of high school at least (3) years;
 
And must have:
-- Attained a minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 (4.0 scale); and
-- Been starters or contributors throughout the 2023 season.
 
It is the fourth year that the Hampshire Honor Society has recognized sprint football. The dozen Midshipmen recognized join former teammates – Lane Condie ('23), Shane Fagan ('22), Michael Garnett ('22), Caiden Groff ('21), Nicholas Haslam ('22), Jake Karczewski ('22), Jim Kenneally ('21), Paul Kuehler ('23), Luke Kustra ('21), Scott Lombardi ('23), Jack Masterson ('23), Colin McMann ('22), Carter Mullikin ('23), Trey Ogden ('21), Marco Pezzini ('23), Mark Postma ('23), Jared Simonelli ('22), Jake Smith ('23), Lucas Starks ('23), Jack Thomas ('23), Alex Totta ('23), Adam Weissenfels ('22), Radford Wyrick ('23) – in the organization's rich history.
