ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Nine different players won at least one match for the Navy men's tennis team as it registered its third-straight win against a Patriot League opponent Saturday when the Mids (23-12, 3-1) posted a 6-1 victory over Loyola (5-11, 1-3) on the USNA Tennis Courts in Annapolis.  Later in the day, the other half of the Navy team won a 4-0 match at Wagner (1-18).

Navy 6, Loyola 1
Navy won each of the three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 advantage.  The No. 1 team of Herrick Legaspi and Sasha Panyan defeated Oliver Davey and Nick Haggar by the score of 6-2.  At the No. 2 flight, Nicholas Nguyen and Jake Young combined for a 7-5 victory over George Cavo and Nick Lawliss.  Graydon Buckingham and Eric Liu added a 6-1 win over Matt Cardano and Cristian Pemueller at No. 3 doubles.

Legaspi at No. 2 and Young at No. 5 each won straight-set singles wins.  Also winning straight-set matches for the Mids were J.J. Etterbeek at No. 3, Aniketh Ayinala at No. 4 and Matthew McNair at No. 6.

Navy 4, Wagner 0
The Mids swept the three doubles matches at the three-court Staten Island Community Tennis Center.  The most decisive victory for the Mids came at the No. 1 flight where Luke Garner and Tommy Kim combined for a 6-1 win over Jordan Hunte and Filippo Tonnicchi.  Jason Kim and Steve Nguyen recorded a 7-6 (7-5) victory over Sebastian Dobson and Rodrigo Perez at No. 2 doubles.  Navy's No. 3 team of Aaron Gu and Zach Quattro defeated Lucas Darling and Aryan Gupta by the score of 7-5.  

Garner at No. 1, Jason Kim at No. 3 and Gu at No. 6 all won straight-set singles matches.
