ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Returning home for the first time in three weeks to honor its senior class, the Navy men's soccer team (3-6-4, 0-4-1 PL) is set to host Patriot League foe Lafayette (5-5-3, 2-1-2 PL) on Saturday afternoon at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
 
Following a pregame ceremony to recognize the seven seniors, the Midshipmen and the Leopards will kick off at 1:05 p.m. Both teams will try to gain ground in the league standings, as Navy looks to end a three-game slide and Lafayette seeks to extend its undefeated streak to six matches. Tim Nolan is slated to handle play-by-play duties on ESPN+ for the contest, while the first 150 fans in attendance will receive a Navy Soccer t-shirt presented by Nothing Bundt Cakes.
 
Senior Salute
Navy's senior class of Robert Eaton, Jalen Grant, Tommy Lockhart, Bryce Robisch, A.J. Schuetz, Andrew Schug and Nate Van Zoeren have been an influential group during their time with the program, including helping the Mids claim the 2022 Patriot League Championship … The seven-man class has combined to earn two all-league selections, one all-tournament team nod and one weekly league award from the Patriot League, also garnering two all-academic honors and nine academic honor roll distinctions from the league office … The group has tallied 20 wins and 22 draws in their time at Navy, contributing heavily to the 2022 league tournament title and another postseason berth in 2023.
 
No Place Like Home
The Mids have posted an impressive 21-11-15 mark at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility since the start of the 2021 season … Navy has outscored opponents, 65-41, in those 47 games … Head coach Tim O'Donohue is 40-26-20 in his career at Glenn Warner … Senior Andrew Schug has seven goals and two assists in 29 career home games, while fellow senior A.J. Schuetz has tallied five goals and one assist at home over 30 career games at the GWSF.

Three second-half goals cemented Army's 4-0 win over Navy on Friday night, earning the right to sing second for Army-Navy Cup XIV at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. … Playing in front of 11,363 fans, the largest crowd in the event's 14-year history, the Black Knights used goals from Jack Kryger and Riley Cullum and Jubril Bamgbala's brace to down the Mids, despite the best efforts of the Mids' senior goalkeeper Robert Eaton in an eight-save evening … Freshman Nick Gallucci led the Mids with three shots, while senior A.J. Schuetz finished with two shots.

The current Navy seniors have gone 20-27-22 in their time in Annapolis, going 9-12-11 in league play and making a pair of Patriot League Tournaments, including winning the 2022 league title as freshmen … The Mids are 6-1-3 all-time when A.J. Schuetz records a point, while Navy has tallied a 5-1-3 mark when Andrew Schug scores … Navy is also 2-1-1 when Wyatt Stevens nets a goal … Only two non-senior goalkeepers have started a game in net for Navy since 2019: Pierce Holbrook (2022, 2023) and Dylan Carmody (2025).

After starting the season 2-4-1, the Leopards have rattled off a five-game unbeaten streak entering Saturday's contest, including posting back-to-back 1-0 wins over American and Loyola in their last two contests … Eric Axtman ranks 16th nationally with a league-best .836 save percentage and is 27th in the nation with league-leading 0.692 goals against average … Samir Dishnica leads the team with three goals and seven total points, with his two game-winning goals ranking second in the league … Dishnica's 3.54 shots per game ranks first in the league and 14th nationally … Lafayette paces the league with a 0.692 team goals against average (21st nationally) and a .842 team save percentage (10th nationally), while the Leopards' .462 shutout percentage ranks second in the league … Beaux Lizewski earned a spot on the Patriot League's Preseason All-League Team after picking up second-team all-league honors last season.
