ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The annual Star Meet between the Army (women: 7-0, men: 4-1) and Navy (women: 5-2, men: 7-0) swimming and diving teams will be held Saturday at Lejeune Hall in Annapolis. The meet, part of the Star Series presented by USAA, begins at noon.
Attending the Meet
Fans without prior approved vehicle access wishing to attend need to park outside of the USNA and walk through the gate one visitors center. Those 18 and older must present either a government-issued passport or a state-issued drivers license with a REAL ID and those 17 and younger without one of those IDs must be accompanied by an adult.
Only approved service animals are allowed in USNA athletic facilities.

ESPN+ will stream the meet live with Baltimore Orioles announcer Ben Wagner and five-time Olympic medalist Josh Davis calling the meet.

History
Navy leads the women's series with Army by a 39-5 count. That overall figure includes a 20-1 record by the Mids in meets contested in Annapolis. Army won last year's meet at West Point to snap Navy's 35-year winning streak.
The Navy men's team holds a 56-31 advantage in the series, which includes a 30-13 lead in meets held on The Yard. The teams have split the last four meets, with the home team winning each of those duals. Army's victory at West Point in 2022 ended a run of 31-straight wins by the Mids.
2024-25 Meet Recap
Army totaled 12 event victories on its way to posting a 169-131 win over Navy in the women's meet. The victories by the Mids came from
Lauren Walsh in both breaststroke events and
Mackenzie Kim on both diving boards.
Walsh and Kim both return for Navy this year, while fellow event winners Molly Webber (1000 free, 500 free), Angie McKane (100 back, 100 fly), Sydney Braeger (200 fly), Layne Peterson (200 back) and Catriona Gilmore (200 IM) return for Army.
The Black Knights won 15 of the 16 events a year ago to record a 192.5-107.5 win over the Mids in the men's meet. Diver
Blakeman Shaw, a member of the Class of 2025, won Navy's only event when he placed first on the three-meter diving board.
Returning for Army are event winners Brice Barrieault (1000 free), Johnny Crush (100 back, 200 back), Kohen Rankin (100 breast), Ben Vorthmann (50 free, 100 free), Kalvin Hahn (200 breast), Daniel Verdolaga (100 fly) and Joey Kling (200 IM).
Navy Women's Team
The Mids have compiled a 5-2 record this year. The last time Navy competed in a dual meet was when it defeated American, Bucknell and Lafayette on Nov. 8 in Lejeune Hall.
Among the events on the schedule for Saturday, Walsh has posted the top time in the Patriot League this year in the 200 breaststroke and Kim has tallied the league's best score on the three-meter board.
Navy Men's Team
Navy has posted a 7-0 record this season. The last dual meet for the Mids saw them sweep league-foes American, Bucknell and Lafayette.
The Navy team has recorded the top time or score in the Patriot League in nine of the events that are on the docket for Saturday.
Chase Maier has posted the best time in the 1000 free,
Martin Perecinsky leads the league in the 200 free,
Ben Irwin has recorded the top time in both butterfly events,
Michael Phillips has paced the league in the 200 breast,
Dean Jones has tallied the best time in the 500 free and
Anthony Sciulli has recorded the top score in three-meter diving. Additionally, Navy has posted the league's best time in the 400 free relay.
Army Women's Team
The Black Knights travel to Annapolis with a 7-0 record this season. This includes a 170-125 victory over Penn State in what was the team's only standard 16-event women's only meet to date.
Army swimmers and divers have posted the top time or score in the Patriot League this year in nine of the events that will be contested Saturday.
Army Men's Team
Army has posted a 4-1 record in dual meets this season and has lost the only traditional 16-event men's only dual it has competed in this year. That defeat was a 169-130 loss at Penn State.
The Black Knights as a team have recorded five of the top times or scores in the Patriot League this year in events slated for Saturday.
