ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women's triathlon team returns to competition this weekend to race in the Clermont Draft Legal on Saturday and Sunday. The event will consist of one race each day at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont, Fla.

Dylan Cashin,
MC Kistler and
Ella Sims will represent the Mids in the U25 national development race (8 a.m.) on Saturday and the NCAA women's race (11 a.m.) on Sunday.
The U25 national development race will consist of a 750m swim, a 20k (12.4 mile) bike and a 5k (3.1 mile) run. The NCAA race features a 375m swim, a 10k (6.2 mile) bike and a 2.5k (1.55 mile) run. Neither race will have team scoring.
A Look Back at the Fall
Navy competed in five events during the fall.
The Mids began the season with a second-place finish at the Patriots Triathlon. Navy placed three athletes in the top five, led by
Natalie Wang who won the race with a time of 1:10:03.
The Mids placed sixth out of 11 teams the following week at the Duquesne Collegiate Cup. Wang (1:05:17) and
Dylan Cashin (1:08:27) both claimed spots in the top 25 placing ninth and 22nd, respectively.
Navy concluded the regular season at the Robious Landing Collegiate Cup. Wang placed in the top three for the second time in her freshman season. She totaled a time of 58:37 in a modified one-mile run, 20km bike and 5k run race to take third. As a team, the Mids placed fourth out of 15 teams.
The postseason started with the NCAA East Regional Qualifier, where Navy placed eighth out of 21 teams. Wang and Cashin each placed in the top 50 in a field that consisted of 133 athletes. Wang (30th) clocked in a time of 1:02:27 to record the team's best finish.
The Mids finished the regular season at the NCAA Nationals, where they finished 11th out of 14 teams. Wang crossed the finish line in 1:04:16 to lead Navy and place 60th out of 194 competitors.
