ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy senior
Marleigh Duncan is slated to compete at the NCAA Rifle Championship as an individual in smallbore inside Historic Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Ky. Hosted by the University of Kentucky, the championships will be held March 14-15 with Duncan competing on Friday.
Additionally, teammate
Stephanie Milvain was named an alternate in smallbore.

One of the top Navy shooters throughout the season, Duncan registered the second highest average in smallbore (586.1) on the team. The senior led the way for the Mids in the NCAA Qualifier against John Jay, recording a top aggregate score of 1182 thanks to a 587-smallbore performance and a 595-air rifle tally. Duncan registered a season-high 590 in smallbore at Ohio State, while holding a career-best in the discipline of 592.
The 2025 NCAA Rifle Championship will mark the fourth time in career that Duncan will compete in the NCAA Tournament. She competed as part of the Navy teams that qualified in 2022 and 2024, while taking part as an individual in 2023.
Milvain competed in all 12 competitions during the regular season for the Midshipmen, making 12 starts in smallbore. The senior team captain was third on the team behind Duncan in smallbore average with a 583.2. She notched a 587 in smallbore in the NCAA Qualifier, while registering a career-high 590 in the discipline earlier in the year at Akron.
2025 NCAA Rifle Championship
The top eight teams in both the smallbore and air rifle events were selected based on the average of the three highest regular-season aggregate scores with no more than one match at any given site. The average of the three highest scores was added to the aggregate scores from the designated qualifiers to determine the top eight teams.

A total of 48 competitors will compete in the championships, with 40 competitors coming from the top eight teams selected. The remaining eight competitors were selected based on the scores submitted from the designated qualifier.

Individual and team competitions in smallbore (60 shots) will be held Friday, March 14, and individual and team competitions in air rifle (60 shots) will be held Saturday, March 15. The overall team champion will be determined by combining the smallbore and air rifle team total scores into one aggregate score for each institution.
