ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy track and field teams will compete at Ingram Field for the first time in 2025 when the Mids play host to the Navy Outdoor Invitational on Saturday. The field events begin at 10 a.m. and the track events start at 1 p.m. The meet will not have team scoring.

Accessing the Naval Academy
• Vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those drivers with a Department of Defense identification card
• All other visitors must either park outside of the Naval Academy grounds and walk through the security gates at Gate 1 or take the complimentary shuttles from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis, Md., 21401)
• The shuttles will run from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Enter the blue/west parking lot through gate 5 off of Taylor Avenue. The cost of parking is $10
• Visitors 18 years and older must present a government-issued identification card (driver's license / passport) to gain access to the Academy grounds, while visitors 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult
Navy Freshmen Earn Patriot League Weekly Awards
Navy's
Wyatt Shaw and Zoie Tesi were named the Patriot League Track & Field Rookies of the Week.
Shaw placed in the top three in two events at the Virginia Opener to earn his first conference weekly award this season. He placed second in the long jump with a season-best 7.38m (24' 2.5") and finished in third place in the high jump with a leap of 1.98m (6' 6").
Tesi garnered her third Patriot League Rookie-of-the-Week honor this year (Jan. 21 / Feb 4.). She won the high jump event at the Virginia Opener with a season-best effort of 1.73m (5' 8"). The Gloversville, N.Y., native also placed third in the triple jump with a distance of 11.61m (38' 1.25").
Track and Field Wins Nine Events at Virginia Opener
The men's and women's track and field teams won a total of nine events at the Virginia Opener last Saturday in Charlottesville.
Highlighting the men's efforts was
Jacques Guillaume winning the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.60, which is the 10th-best time in program history.
The Mids dominated the women's 3,000m with six runners placing second through seventh led by Olivia Lutkevich, who finished second in 9:57.34.
