Navy-Bucknell Series
• Friday night's contest between Navy and Bucknell marks the 24th game in a series that began in 1996. It's the 22nd game since Navy joined the Patriot League in the spring of 2004.
• Navy owns a 15-8 advantage in the series, winning each of the last 8 contests.
• The series is tied at 5 wins apiece in games played in Lewisburg, though Navy has won each of the last 3 (2016, 13-6 / 2018, 13-8 / 2023, 12-9).
• Nine of the 23 games in the series have been decided by a single goal. However, the Mids have won the last 8 games by an average of nearly 4.75 goals.
• Five of the 9 one-goal contests have entered into extra minutes, including last year's 13-12 overtime victory by Navy in Annapolis
• Navy has reached double digits in the scoring column in each of the last 8 contests, while Bucknell has been held to single digits in 8 of the last 10 games.
• Could 13 be Navy's lucky number? During its 8-game winning streak in the series, Navy has scored exactly 13 goals in 6 of the 8 victories. The Mids have scored at least 13 in 7 of the 8 wins (2023, 12-9)

Scouting Bucknell
• Twentieth-year Bucknell head coach Frank Fedorjaka has led the Bison to a 5-8 record, including a 2-5 mark in the Patriot League this season. Bucknell heads into Friday night's contests against the Mids having lost 4 of its last 5 games (L, 14-5 vs. Lafayette / L 12-11 vs. Loyola / L 16-14 vs. Bryant / L 20-11 vs. Army). Ironically, Bucknell's 2 Patriot League victories are over 2 teams Navy lost to - Colgate (W, 18-17) and Lehigh (W, 11-10).
• Last year, Bucknell was 8th in the league in scoring (10.43), however this season the Bison stand 3rd in the conference averaging 13.08 goals per game. Michael Meyer (Jr / A) is atop the scoring leader board with 56 points on 25 goals and a team-high 31 assists. He ranks 17th nationally in points per game (4.31) and 9th in assists per game (2.38). Meanwhile, Connor Davis (Sr / A) has amassed 50 points on a team-best 40 goals and 10 assists. Davis is 33rd in points per game (3.85) nationally and 10th in goals per game (3.08).
• The Bison have utilized 2 different starting goalkeepers this spring - Luke Renaud (Jr) and Jaz Zanelli (Jr). Renaud has seen action in 12 of the 13 contests and started 8. He owns a 12.63 goals-against average and a 46.7 save percentage. Zanelli, has started 5 of the 6 games in which he's played, owns a 14.95 GAA and a 48.0 save percentage.
• Will Pickering (Jr / D) leads the team in caused turnovers with 24, while John Young (Jr / LSM) has 14.
• Colin McLoy (So) has won 105 of the 228 draws (46.1) he has taken this season, while Brandon Edwards (Fr) is 32 of 72 (44.4), Ben Concepcion (Fr) is 28 of 49 (57.1) and Steven Pepe (Jr)  is 14 of 32 (43.8).

Streaks
Dan Daly (Jr) took over the starting netminder role last season in the opener and has started each of the last 29 games.
Ian McGullam (Sr / D) had started 15-consecutive games dating back to last year's Army game, however he was forced to miss the last 3 contests due to injury. Meanwhile, AJ Marsh (So / D), Jacob Darrow (Sr / D) and Mac Haley (Jr / A) have started all 13 contests this spring.
Mac Haley (Jr / A) has produced a point in all 13 games this season. He has dealt out assists in 11 of the 13 games, including each of the last 6.
Carter Ash (Sr / A), meanwhile, has the longest goal-scoring streak, targeting shots in each of the last 7 contests, while Paul Garza (Jr / M) has goals in each of the last 5 games.
Jack Flaherty (Jr / M) is looking to add his name to the list, as he has produced points and goals in each of the last 4 games.
William Goers (Fr / A) had produced a point in every game until the Mids'game last Friday at Loyola where he didn't even take a shot in the contest.
• Navy has had at least 1 pole (close defense or LSM) score a goal in each of the last 32 years (1994-present). AJ Marsh (So / D) has scored in the opener in each of the last 2 years to keep that streak intact.

Navy to Host 2025 NCAA Quarterfinal Site
• Hofstra (Saturday, May 17) and Navy (Sunday, May 18 / 12:00 pm & 2:30 pm) will serve as the host sites for this year's NCAA Quarterfinal games. Navy has previously hosted the quarterfinal round 7 times - 2007, '08, '09, '12, '15, '18, '23. Navy will also host quarterfinal games in 2027.
• Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., will be the site of the 2025 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships (Div. I, II, III) and Div. I Women's Lacrosse Championship. These championships will represent the 2nd time the home of the NFL's New England Patriots has hosted the combined men's and women's event and the 6th time (2008-09-12-17-18) it has hosted the men's championship. In 2017, the venue became the 1st to host both the men's and women's championships. Harvard will serve as the host school.
• Tickets for the 2025 Navy Quarterfinal site are currently on sale online at NavySports.com(.)

Plenty of Goals to Go Around
• There have been just 10 seasons in program history in which Navy has had 20 or more players score a goal, including each of the last 4 years (22 in 2022 and '23 / 23 in 2024 / 26 in 2025).
• Navy broke the program record for most players to score a goal in a season this spring against Lafayette (4.4) when Chase Green (Fr / SSDM) notched his 1st-career goal just under 3 minutes into the contest. Graham Parker (So / SSDM) then became the 26th different Navy player to score a goal when he, too, scored his 1st-collegiate goal in the contest.
• Navy owns a 124-17 record (87.9) when scoring 10 or more goals since 2004, including a 100-16 mark (86.2) in the last 17 seasons (9-1 in 2009 // 10-1 in 2010 // 3-2 in 2011 // 5-0 in 2012 // 3-0 in 2013 // 4-0 in 2014 // 5-0 in 2015 // 9-2 in 2016 // 6-1 in 2017 // 6-0 in 2018 // 5-1 in 2019 // 2-0 in 2020 // 4-1 in 2021 // 7-1 in 2022 // 7-2 in 2023 // 9-2 in 2024 // 5-2 in 2025).
• Navy has scored 7 or fewer goals in 51 of its last 184 contests, but only 13 times in the last 7 years - 2019 (Loyola, L, 18-5), 2020 (Lehigh, L, 14-6), 2021 (Lehigh, L, 13-7), 2022 (Lehigh, L, 11-7 / Loyola, L, 18-7), 2023 (Manhattan, L, 6-5 / Villanova, L, 17-6 / Army, L, 11-6 / Loyola, L, 12-7), 2024 (Towson, L, 17-5 / Penn State, L, 13-3 / Villanova, L, 14-7) amd 2025 (Penn State, L, 13-7).
• Navy averaged 10.88 goals per game last spring, marking the 6th-consecutive year the Mids averaged double digits.
• Navy currently stands #35 nationally in scoring average (11.46), scoring double digits in 7 of its 13 games. Navy hasn't finished the year averaging 11.0 goals per game since 2020 and has averaged 11.0 goals just 3 times since 2000 (12.28 in 2004 / 11.00 in 2007 / 11.80 in 2020).
