BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Coming off a fourth-place team result at this past Friday's 2025 Patriot League Women's Rowing Championship, Navy senior
Noelle de Vente was honored with a spot on the All-Patriot League Second Team. The honor is the second of her career.
A three-year member of Navy's first varsity eight boat, de Vente rowed in the sixth seat in Friday's championship and helped the boat post a time of 6:53.483 in the preliminary heat that qualified the Mids for the afternoon's grand final. In that second race of the day, Navy found itself in a three-way battle with Bucknell and Colgate in the middle of the six-team pack. After 2,000 meters of hard fought racing, the Bison had just enough left and finished fourth at 6:55.616, while the Raiders took fifth and the Mids sixth with times of 6:56.647 and 6:57.565, respectively.
For her career, de Vente competed at the Patriot League Championship in all four seasons starting with the second varsity eight as a freshman in 2022. She won silver with the 2V8 and followed it up with a gold in the V8 in 2023 and another silver with the V8 in 2024. Tuesday's honor is the second all-league accolade for de Vente as she was selected to the All-Patriot League Team in 2023.
The All-League teams are based on the team's finish in the Varsity Eight Grand Final from the Patriot League Rowing Championship, which was held on Friday, May 16 on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J.
