About the Tournament
• The Jackson T. Stephens Cup is named in memory of the late Augusta National Chairman Jackson T. Stephens
• Since the event's inception in 2021, the Jackson T. Stephens Cup tournament committee has extended invitations to individual players as part of its celebration of diversity of education, ethnicity and background. Individuals from four HBCUs (Florida A&M University, Howard University, Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University) and three United States Service Academies (United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy and United States Air Force Academy) compete in the stroke-play portion of the competition.
• The three-day competition is slated for 54 holes of stroke play (36 holes on Monday, 18 holes on Tuesday) that will set the field for a final day of match play (Wednesday) based on the stroke-play team finish.
• In addition to a match play champion, the event will also recognize its 54-hole winners upon completion of stroke play.
• The men's field features Arizona, LSU, North Carolina, Northwestern, SMU and Texas, along with individuals Chip Deegan (Navy), Drew Jeffords (Army), Brooks Morrell (Air Force), Denis Asaba (Livingstone), Sascha Robinson (Florida A&M), Mathis Perroni (Howard), Tariro November (Howard)

The Course
• Built in 1916 and designed by renowned Golden Age architect Seth Raynor, Shoreacres is one of the most enduring examples of classical golf course architecture in the United States. Raynor's signature approach, defined by bold green complexes, strategic shot values, and a masterful use of natural landforms, has made the course both a connoisseur's favorite and a true test of competitive play.
• At 6,838 yards for men and 6,207 yards for women, the course plays to a par of 70.
• The layout offers a thoughtful mix of long par fours, precise par threes, and scorable par fives, creating a well-rounded test for collegiate players competing in the Jackson T. Stephens Cup.
