ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy baseball team will take on a pair of familiar foes in exhibition games this fall, head coach
Chuck Ristano announced on Monday.
Hosting rival Air Force to start October, the Midshipmen then trek down to perennial ACC power Virginia later in the month.
Navy welcomes its service academy rival on Sunday, Oct. 5, with first pitch between the Mids and Falcons slated for 11 a.m. from Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium. The exhibition contest will be part of a weekend of activities surrounding the annual Air Force-Navy football game that will be played on Saturday, Oct. 4.
The Mids then head to the Virginia Cavaliers on Sunday, Oct. 19, with game time slated for 1 p.m. at Disharoon Park in Charlottesville.
Additionally, Navy will host its annual Alumni Game on the morning of Sept. 27 prior to the Navy-Rice football game.
Any changes made to the fall ball schedule will be announced on the program's Twitter account, @NavyBaseball.
