ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Patriot League announced its weekly women's lacrosse accolades and Navy's Felicia Giglio was recognized as the conference's Goalkeeper of the Week. Additionally, Alyssa Chung was named selected as the Naval Academy Athletic Association Student-Athlete of the week.
 
The duo helped lead Navy to a pair of victories on the week, defeating Jacksonville (W, 13-10) and Bucknell (W, 17-6).
 
Giglio anchored Navy's defense that held a pair of opponents to just 16 goals (8.0 gpg), including holding Bucknell to single digits. It was the fourth time this season the Midshipmen have held an opponent to single digits this season.  She recorded 17 saves in 109:25 minutes of action with four ground balls. Giglio opened the week with 10 saves in a victory over Jacksonville, marking the first double-digit save performance of the season. The junior followed that performance with seven saves and just five goals allowed against Bucknell.
 
Chung led the team with 11 points on a team-high nine goals with two assists. The attacker was 4-for-4 on free position opportunities, while also being credited with the game-winning goal against JU. The sophomore led the charge against the Dolphins with five goals, netting five of Navy's final six goals, including breaking a 10-10 tie with three straight goals, to secure the win. In the Patriot League opener against Bucknell, Chung led the team with six points on a team-high four goals with a pair of assists. The sophomore was 2-for-2 in free-positions in both games.
