ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's and women's swimming and diving teams combined to win 14 of the 26 individual swimming events at the Navy Invitational, Saturday in Lejeune Hall. The Navy men's team totaled nine victories on the day, with the women's squad adding five triumphs.

"The swimmers of the meet for us were Brandon Wiedower and Brooks Cameron," said Navy men's assistant coach Adam Kennedy. "They not only won five events on the day, they also posted great times in each of their races."

Wiedower (Fr., San Antonio, Texas), recorded a 4:35.35 to win the 500 freestyle by seven seconds and a 16:15.35 to win the 1650 freestyle by 12 seconds. Both of Wiedower's time were season-best clockings for him, with Cameron recording season-best marks in the 100 backstroke and 100 freestyle events.
