May 30, 2015 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Navy men's track and field sophomore Khaalif Wolfe (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) placed 41st in the triple jump on Saturday at the NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville, Florida.
"Wolfe finished off what was a good three days here in Jacksonville," Navy head coach Stephen Cooksey said. "We may not have had any athlete qualify for the NCAA Championship, but on the bright side eight of the 11 athletes that competed this weekend will have a chance to qualify next season."
Wolfe recorded a mark of 48ft-0.75in (14.65m) in the triple jump for 41st. The sophomore jumper was 3ft-1.5in off of placing in the top 12 and qualifying for the NCAA Championship.
Wolfe capped off Navy's season as the 11th and final athlete to compete at the East Regional.
