PRINCETON, N.J. – The Navy track and field team split a dual meet on the road against Princeton on Sunday, Jan. 6, at Jadwin Gymnasium in Princeton, N.J. The women's team notched an 89-83 victory, while the men's team dropped a 95-86 decision.

"I thought there were some bright spots today," Director of Navy Track and Field Jamie Cook said. "I am encouraged by how we looked today, but we have a lot of room for improvement to be where we want to be at the end of the season. Some of the younger athletes competed well for being young. Just being out there seeing a flat track in a dual meet setting after the break was good for us. It was a great atmosphere and very competitive.

"I am excited for the Wesley Brown Invitational next weekend. It should be a great meet for the fans to come out and see some of the best teams in the region to compete at our facility, which is one of the best indoor facilities in the country."
