ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– Navy's Conners O'Brien (So., Rensselaer, N.Y.) and Andres Ballesteros (Fr., West Hartford, Conn.) each won their respective singles flight and combined to win a doubles flight at the Navy Invite that concluded Sunday in Annapolis.
 
O'Brien posted a 4-0 record to win his singles flight.  He did not drop a set in winning each of his three group matches before recording a 6-3, 7-5 win over Serhii Kharchev from Morgan State in the playoff match.
 
Ballesteros was extended to three sets in just one of his three group match victories.  He then tallied a 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-5) win over Delaware's Fabrizio Alcobe in the flight championship match.
 
The Navy duo also combined to win each of its two doubles matches to win its flight.
 
Additionally, Navy's pairing of Jake Fishkin (So., Baltimore, Md.) and Finn Garner (Fr., Arnold, Md.) shared its doubles flight title with a 2-1 record.
 
Navy also sent four Mids to the Flames Invite in Lynchburg, Va.  There, the Mids played round-robin matches.
 
This was the last weekend of competition during the fall season for the Mids.
