Coming off a weekend that saw the Mids earn three 9-0 victories, the 16th-ranked Navy squash team (3-1) returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Charlottesville, Va. to face ninth-ranked Virginia (3-0). Action is slated for 5:30 pm at the McArthur Squash Center.

Navy will then play host to fourth-ranked Princeton (0-0) on Saturday at the Halsey Field House International Squash Courts beginning at 11:00 am.

Admission is free to all Navy squash home matches. A reminder to fans planning on attending the match, vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those with a Department of Defense identification card. It is suggested that fans park downtown and walk through the main gate. Please note that a government issued identification card must be carried and presented at the gate.

Weekly Rewind
• All 11 players on the ladder saw action last weekend in wins over No. 32 Fordham (9-0), No. 31 Haverford (9-0) and Boston University (9-0) and earned wins for the Mids, including Jack Lentz, team captain Michael Kacergis, Millen Randell, Ryan York, Tommy Rankin and Gus Prager who went 3-0 on the weekend.
• Among the 26 individual matches played over the weekend, Navy surrendered just one - a 3-1 win by Prager over Haverford's Khalil Walker (6,8,{7},5).
• Freshmen Millen Randell, Tommy Rankin and Joe Kacergis all earned their first career victories and all three accomplished it in the Mids' 9-0 sweep against Fordham in the tournament opener. Rankin swept Winthrop Reed (5,6,2), Ranking picked up a win over Justin Deckoff (7,7,7) and Kacergis dealt Caleb Schumacher a 3-0 loss (1,1,3).
• Sophomores Thomas Prim and Will Hyer made their first appearances among the nine-player ladder this season. Prim allowed just three points in his win over Boston University's William Liu (2,0,1) at No. 8, while Hyer captured a 3-0 win over BU's Chad Lavoie (3,1,3).
• Owen Davis (Sr / Rydal, Pa.) went 2-0 over the weekend and is now just one win shy of 50 for his career.
• Behind his 3-0 mark, Jack Lentz broke the 40-win milestone and now chases 50. He has amassed a 42-15 record in what is his third season.

• Ninth-ranked Virginia is in just its third season as a varsity program and is coming off a 12th-place finish at the 2019 College Squash Association Team Championship.
• The Cavaliers opened their season last Saturday at the McArthur Squash Center with wins against Franklin and Marshall (6-3), Richmond (9-0) and North Carolina (9-0).
• While all 15 members of the Virginia team saw action last weekend, freshmen Aly Hussein and Omar El Torkey have assumed the No. 1 and 2 spots in the lineup and last year's No. 1 player Patrick McElroy has shifted to the No. 3 position.
• The Midshipmen own a 9-0 all-time record against Virginia and will make their first trip to play on the Cavs' home court.

• Fourth-ranked Princeton officially opens its 2019-20 season on Saturday when it faces the Midshipmen.
• The Tigers put together a 7-9 record a year ago and placed eighth at the College Squash Association Team Championship.
• A veteran squad, six players off last year's ladder return, including No. 1 player senior Adhitya Raghavan. Also returning are Daelum Mawji, Alex Engstrom, Gabriel Morgan, Howe Cheng and Henry Parkhurst.
• Entering his seventh season as head coach is Sean Wilkinson, who was Navy head coach Tyler Osborne's coach for his final two seasons at Princeton (2013-14 and 2014-15).
• Princeton leads the all-time series against the Midshipmen, 43-18, which includes a 24-6 advantage in matches played at Princeton.
• This will be the first time the two programs have met since Nov. 22, 2015, when the Tigers defeated Navy, 8-1.
• Navy's last win in the series was on Nov. 23, 2014, when it captured a 5-4 decision in Annapolis.
• This will be the first time Navy head coach Tyler Osborne has faced his alma mater.

What's Ahead
• Following this week's action, Navy will make the trip to Carlisle, Pa. next Wednesday to battle No. 26 Dickinson.
• Wednesday's match will mark the first time the Mids have played at Dickinson, having met the previous eight times either in Annapolis (7-0) or at a neutral site (1-0).
