ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– The Navy men's tennis team will close its fall schedule by participating in a pair of tournaments this weekend.  The Mids will welcome seven different teams to Annapolis for the Navy Invitational and will send a squad of Mids to Lynchburg, Va., to take part in the Flames Invite that is being contested on the Liberty campus.

Each event run Friday through Sunday.  The Navy Invite will utilize all of Navy's available courts both on The Yard and at the Brigade Sports Complex.  Team scoring will not be tracked at either event.

"It's been a great fall thus far with everyone getting a chance to play against strong competition," said Navy head coach Chris Garner.  "The team has gotten a chance to play against members of other schools that we rarely face in the spring, which has been enjoyable for the guys."

Players from Saint Joseph's, Niagara, Hofstra, Delaware, Morgan State, Iowa and Columbia will travel to Annapolis for the Navy Invite.  Meanwhile, the Mids will compete alongside players from Liberty, Virginia, Longwood, Appalachian State and James Madison at the Liberty Invite.
