ANNAPOLIS, Md. —  The Navy men's lacrosse team will commemorate the 100th meeting against archrival Army by wearing a throwback uniform this Saturday.

Under Armour brought back the 90s-inspired porthole mesh jersey with the word Navy across the chest and blue and gold stripes on the sleeves. Sewn on the jersey is a specially-created logo that features elements from both service academy logos, including the Navy anchor and the Army shield and sword, as well as the facade of Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium where the contest will be played.

Navy will wear a white helmet for the first time since the 2013 Army-Navy game with decals featuring the charging goat. The Mids will also wear white gloves with "Beat Army" embroidered, as well as white cleats.

Televised live by CBS Sports Network, Saturday's men's and women's Army-Navy doubleheader is slated to begin at 1:00 pm with the women's game, followed by the men at 3:30 pm. The Navy men own a 61-35-3 overall record against the Black Knights and a 56-32-3 record in Star Games. The Mids have won four consecutive Star Games - 10-7 in 2015, 11-10 OT in 2016, 10-6 in 2017 and 9-8 in 2018.

Saturday's Army-Navy men's and women's lacrosse games are two of four remaining Star competitions for the 2018-19 season and two of three slated for Saturday. In addition to the men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader, Army is playing host the men's tennis Star Match at 1:00 pm. Meanwhile, Navy will play host to the Army-Navy baseball series on April 20 and April 21. Navy needs one win to assure a tie and two to secure the Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA and win the Star Series for the 21st time in the last 23 years.

Sale of the Century VIII will also be held on Saturday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Items on sale include shoes, helmets, game jerseys, t-shirts, shorts, hats, travel bags and a wide variety of other Navy team and Under Armour apparel. The sale will run from 12 noon-6:30 pm in conjunction with the Army-Navy lacrosse doubleheader. A game ticket will be required to enter the stadium starting at 2:30 pm. There will also be a $5 convenience fee for all sales.

Tickets for Saturday's men's game may be purchased by stopping by the Navy Ticket Office at Ricketts Hall, by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY, via the internet at www.navysports.com or at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on game day. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, while groups of 20 or more will be offered discounted $5 (adults) and $3 tickets (youth).
