ANNAPOLIS, Md. –– The Navy swimming and diving teams will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., this weekend for a Saturday morning meet against nationally-ranked North Carolina. A stream of the 9:30 a.m. meet will be available for a fee through the ACC Network Extra. Links for the stream and live results from the meet can be found at NavySports.com.
Navy Men (10-2)
The Navy men's team improved its record in dual meets this season to 10-2 with a 171-129 victory over Princeton Saturday in Annapolis. The Mids won the first four events on their way to posting the victory.
Navy will close its dual meet campaign by playing host to Columbia on Jan. 31.
North Carolina Men (No. 22, 1-2)
North Carolina's men's team enters the meet ranked 22nd nationally and with a 1-2 record on the year. The Tar Heels have defeated East Carolina and lost to Georgia and South Carolina this season.
2018-19 Men's Meet
Navy emerged with a 161-134 victory over North Carolina last season in Annapolis.
Navy Women (10-1)
The Navy women's team last competed in a meet Dec. 12 when the Mids recorded a 221-79 victory over Army. That victory, the 31st in a row for the Mids over the Black Knights, gave Navy a 10-1 record this season.
Saturday's meet will be the last dual meet of the season for the Mids.
North Carolina Women (No. 16, 2-1)
The 16th-ranked North Carolina women's team has compiled a 2-1 record this season. The Tar Heels opened the year with a win over East Carolina, suffered a loss to Georgia and defeated South Carolina.
2018-19 Women's Meet
North Carolina defeated Navy, 192-108, last season in Lejeune Hall.
