BETHLEHEM, PA. – The Navy men's and women's track and field team hold the lead after one day of competition at the 2020 Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Championship, which is being held at Lehigh's Rauch Fieldhouse in Bethlehem, Pa.

"I thought we did really well qualifying a lot of people on the first day," Director of Navy Track and Field Jamie Cook said of day one. "There were some highlights in the finals, as well as a lot of qualifiers for tomorrow. We are happy, but it is just day one. We are focused on what we need to do tomorrow. We competed really hard today. We scored a lot of points, but we have to keep on it and see if we can't pull out some more events tomorrow. This team will continue to compete for every point that we can get to help the team win."
