Five Starting Notes
1 – This will be the 98th season since the Army-Navy series began 102 seasons ago in which the teams will meet.
2 – The 133 games played between Army and Navy ranks fourth among all Patriot League pairings for the most games played in a series.
3 – Saturday's game will be the fourth time in which each team enters the game with a winning Patriot League record.

Series History
•    Army and Navy first met 101 years ago.  The Mids posted a 24-18 victory over the Black Knights in the inaugural Feb. 21, 1920, contest that was played in Annapolis.
•    The teams met annually from the 1920-21 through the 1927-28 seasons.  After a four-year pause, the teams resumed their series starting in the 1932-33 campaign and have since met annually.
•    This will be the 98th season (of 102 possible seasons) in which the teams will meet.
•    Navy leads the all-time series with Army, 80-53.
•    Navy has posted a 44-23 record against Army in games played in Annapolis.  The Mids also have compiled a 22-11 record against the Black Knights in games played in Alumni Hall.
•    Navy has posted a 35-29 record against Army in games played at West Point.  This includes a 23-10 record for the Mids in games played in Christl Arena.
•    Navy holds a 38-20 advantage in Patriot League regular season games played against Army.  The advantage for Navy in league home games is 18-11 (all in Alumni Hall) and in league road games it is a 20-9 edge for the Mids (all in Christl Arena).
•    Saturday's game is the Star Game in the series.  The Mids hold a 58-39 overall advantage in Star Games.  Navy has posted a 34-14 record in Star Games played in Annapolis (12-2 in Alumni Hall).  Army leads, 25-24, in Star Games played at West Point, but the Mids hold a 12-6 advantage in Star Games played in Christl Arena.
